If we want our kids to have healthy habits it means we need to have healthy habits. Hopefully that is good news. As parents we lay the foundation of the importance of healthy habits in our everyday lives from outdoor play, to exercise, to eating right, to reading and the list goes on. If we model healthy habits for our kids, those healthy habits will become ingrained and become part of their lives without much effort.
